The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.

The Board will consider for approval to hire a full time jailer for the Sheriff’s office and a Louis Dreyfus funding request for the law enforcement center.

The Board will also hear an update from Jefferson City Administrator Mike Palmer, meet the new Greene County Chamber Director, hold a public hearing for a hog confinement for Greene County Pigs LLC in Franklin Township and hold a completion hearing with Carroll County Board of Supervisors for work done in drainage district 150.

The meeting will be at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
