jefferson-public-libraryThe 24th annual Friends of the Jefferson Library used book sale kicks off this weekend.

Library Director Jane Millard says the book sale is from September 17th through the 24th in the basement of the library. She points out that the first day is reserved for only the Friends to shop.

“But it’s easy to get a membership and it’s only $5 and we’ll have them available at the door. You can come in before that and pay your membership for the next year so you’re all prepared and can go right through the line to get in the door quickly that morning.”

The rest of the days, the sale will be open to the public.

Items at the book sale include books, CDs, DVDs, audio tapes, games and puzzles.

The book sale will be going on during the normal business hours of the library.
