The West Central Valley School Board will meet twice tonight.

 

During the Board’s monthly regular meeting they will approve financial reports, bills and personnel contracts and resignations, and open enrollment requests.

 

Additionally, they will discuss an FFA trip request, and approve modified allowable growth and supplemental aid.

 

Plus they will hear presentations about instructional leadership, and middle school standards-based grading, and they will review board policies.

 

Immediately following the regular Board meeting, they will reconvene for their annual organizational meeting, where a Board president and vice president will be elected, they will vote to adopt Robert’s Rules of Order for conducting meetings, set a date and time for monthly meetings, identify an Iowa Association of School Boards delegate representative, identify county representatives and set a date for their annual goal workshop.
The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. inside of the Dexter Elementary library.
