Greene County ExtensionIt’s the final call for anyone who is interested in improving their leadership skills.

Greene County Extension is hosting a five-week program called Greene County Leadership. Director Lori Mannel says the class is for anyone who lives or works in the county and it will help to improve your personal and professional leadership skills. She describes some of the topics and speakers.

“Mary Clancy is a presenter on understanding ourselves. She is an ISU Extension employee. Shirley Phillips comes from the economic development arena from Western Iowa Tourism, she’s just giving an overall Leadership 101. I have heard all of these presenters speak and they are just outstanding.”

Other topics that will be covered include communicating and listening, stress in the workplace and legacy leadership.

The program is on Thursdays from 11am to 2pm from September 29th through October 27th. Cost to participate is $250. Lunch will be provided.
