Obell Xavier Vanover, age 23, of 23800 170^th St., Bouton was cited and released for driving while license is suspended and violation of financial liability coverage.

Jeremy James Beem, age 34, of 2318 56^th St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of theft 3^rd degree.

Heather Dawn Meggison of 408 W. Buchanan St., Winterset was traveling westbound toward the intersection of 360^th and Utica Trail when her vehicle rear ended another driven by Douglas Albaugh of 25489 360^th St., Van Meter. Albaugh was stopped while waiting for a car in front of him that was waiting for traffic to go by so he could turn. No injuries were reported.  Damage to Meggison’s car was estimated at $4000.00 and Albaugh’s was $4000.00. Meggison was cited for failure to stop at a assured clear distance.

Lucas Wayne Nelson of 2121 Greene St. Adel was traveling South on N Ave. when his vehicle struck deer.  No injuries reported.  Estimated damage to Nelson’s vehicle is $4000.
