An Ogden teen received a deferred judgment in Boone County District Court, after his charges were dismissed in Greene County.

According to court documents, 19 year-old Talon David Church was charged in Greene County with a Class D Felony for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and misdemeanors for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. However, those charges were dismissed and Church received a deferred judgement for a Class D Felony for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver in Boone County District Court.

The charge stems from an investigation following an accident on June 2nd. Two vehicle were reported to be in a ditch in the 2400 block of 180th Street in Greene County. The Greene County Sheriff’s office cited 18 year-old Dawnece Lynn Leichliter of Boone for failure to maintain control. Church was her passenger and was originally charged in Greene County.
