Perry senior football player Nic Fellom was crowned king of this year’s homecoming festivities in the coronation you heard live on KDLS last Thursday night.  Fellom is involved in a number of activities but didn’t hesitate when asked what he enjoyed the most.

“Absolutely football,” he smiled.  “I don’t know what it is but I love the feeling of playing under the lights and walking out on to the field.  I love playing for my friends and preparing to play as hard as I can.  It’s a great feeling.”

Fellom has a pregame routine that typically gets him ready to perform.

“I just stick my headphones on and go into my own little world.  I put all of the planning into order in my head as try to mentally prepare myself for the game.”

Fellom and the Bluejays will travel to Webster City this Friday night.
