pawsThe non-profit organization People for Animal Welfare Society of Greene County is holding an animal microchip clinic next weekend.

Any animal can be microchipped, which can help reunite an owner with their pet who may have gotten lost. The 24PetWatch is about a big as a grain of rice that is implanted into your pet. It has a unique identification number which links your pet to your demographic location when scanned.

The event will take place at Kelso Park in Jefferson on Saturday, October 15th from noon to 3pm. The microchip costs $20 and can be done that day. Schedule a time by calling 386-9814. You can also email them at pawsofgreenecounty@hotmail.com.
