One of the biggest events of the year is happening today and tomorrow at Deal’s Orchard’s Fall Festival.

There are lots of activities happening for everyone to enjoy. At the Apple Acres Family Fun Zone there is a giant jumping pillow, a corn box, goat walk and giant slides. Plus, there are horse-drawn hayrides, spin art, corn maze, a petting zoo, apple slingshot, sand art, pony rides, and paint pumpkins.

During the two-day event will also be live musical entertainment. Today will be fiddle music from 11am to 3pm and on Sunday will be Christian music from Brenda Ashley from 10:45am to noon and more fiddle music from noon to 4pm.

The Jefferson Kiwanis Club will also be grilling food and there will be homemade apple pie and ice cream served.

The event will be from 8am to 6pm both days. Deal’s Orchard is located three miles west of Jefferson on County Road E-53 and a quarter mile south on K Avenue.
