Bird watchers and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join the Dallas County Conservation Board on the High Trestle Trail today.

The Hawk Watch program starts at 10am at the trail’s overlook on the Woodward side of the High Trestle Trail Bridge. Naturalists will help new and experienced birders identify the raptors as they move south along the Des Moines River.

Parking is located on the east side of QF in Boone County and there is a half mile walk to the overlook.

The program goes until 4pm and participants can join in at any time.
