In their final conference test of the 2016 regular season, the ADM volleyball team officially took the conference crown defeating the Lady Jays of Bondurant-Farrar last night.

It was their second win over the Lady Jays in the past 5 seasons but none bigger as the Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Jays in four sets. It was an inauspicious start for the Lady Tigers loosing the first set 25-13 but was quickly dwarfed as ADM stormed back to take the next three sets and the conference crown 25-20, 25-21, and 25-18.

Inside the winning effort kills leader Sami Schepers led the team with 8 on the night while senior Sydney Bertman led the team in assists earning 15 of the teams 22 assists on the night. Junior Jordan Hook not only led the way in digs with 20 but also led the way in successful serves putting up 23 of the teams 83 successful serves for the contest. Brianna Heimann led the way with 4 blocks while both Ellie Mueller and Jordan Hook both earned three aces a piece for the winning cause.

The newly crowned Raccoon River Conference champions will have a quick turn around this Saturday when they head to the tournament in Knoxville to battle it out against Albia, Iowa Falls-Alden, Pella Christian, and Knoxville high schools.
