A candidate for Dallas County Supervisors is hosting a listening post event in Perry this weekend.
Democratic candidate Julie Stewart invites voters to meet her at the Mandarin Café Saturday between 10 and 11am.
Stewart is looking to hear what local residents think about topics such as infrastructure, watersheds, the law enforcement center referendum, administration buildings, human services, conservation, bike trails, economic development and county labor negotiations.
Similar events will also be scheduled in Waukee and Dallas Center before the November 8th general election.
Stewart is looking to unseat current Board of Supervisors Chairman Mark Hanson for the District 2 seat.
