With October being Cancer Awareness Month, Greene County Ram fans are encouraged to get involved to show their support this week.
The volleyball team is urging fans to wear purple for tonight’s Color Out Cancer match against North Polk. The team has been raising money throughout the season to help raise money for cancer research by selling posters and auctioning off t-shirts. The match will be in the middle school gym in Jefferson starting at 5pm with freshmen and junior varsity and varsity to follow.
Friday night the football team is hosting Perry at Linduska Field and fans are encouraged to wear pink for the Cheerleaders Cancer Awareness Night. It is also senior night and all seniors that participate in football, cross country, cheerleading and band will be recognized that evening.
