Those interested in hearing from some of our local Greene County candidates prior to the November 8th general election, can do so next week.
The six candidates running for three available Greene County Supervisor seats will come together for a forum at the Greene Room events center at Wild Rose on Monday. The event is sponsored by Greene County Development Corporation and Greene County Farm Bureau. The forum will be moderated by Farm Bureau’s Jeremy Coil and GCDC’s Norm Fandel.
The candidates running for Supervisor District One include Republican incumbent Mick Burkett and Democrat challenger Alan Robinson. Republican John Muir is seeking re-election for Supervisor District Four and he is being challenged by Democrat candidate Todd Madson. In the Supervisor District Five race, it is Republican candidate Peter Bardole against incumbent Guy Richardson who is running without party affiliation.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask candidates questions during the forum.
It will be at 7pm and it is open to the public.
