A Perry Middle School students has been selected to sing with the best of the best next month.
Miguel Orduna has been accepted into the OPUS 7th and 8th grade Bass Clef Honor Choir.
Superintendent Lynn Ubben says this is a “tremendous honor” and the equivalent of a high school student making All-State.
More than 3,000 students from across Iowa audition for the choirs, which are sponsored by the Iowa Choral Directors Association.
The students will rehearse and perform on the Iowa State University Campus on November 17th.
