The Perry Public Library his hosting a shredding event tomorrow.

It takes place from 10am until noon Saturday and Library Director Mary Murphy says it’s a popular service they offer annually.

“Sensitive financial information or things that you’re always cautious about, you can bring your boxes.  They set up in the south parking lot of the library and you can drive through or if you want you can park and bring your boxes over and dump it into one of those large trash containers.  When the container gets full then they’ll dump it in and you can watch it on a screen get shredded.”

Residents can have up to two boxes of documents shredded free of charge.
