Families of children up to fifth grade are invited to the Guthrie County Haunted Village tomorrow at the Historical Village in Panora.

Organizer and Museum Curator Kristine Jorgensen says they are expecting at least 200 kids to explore the family-friendly, annual event. Participants can enjoy several activities including a hayride, storytelling, washable tattoos, face painting, plus there will be a haunted museum and a haunted depot, along with an educational program.

“The educational program, we usually keep it a secret until that night, but that’s always fun and it usually involves one of the stuffed animals that we have on display in the museum. So I think children and adults will enjoy that.”

Adults are reminded to accompany their children at the event and are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and bring bags to collect treats.

It will be from 5 to 7pm tomorrow at the Historical Village on South Street in Panora.
