It was a battle of the top three teams in class 1A’s district 6 last night as the 6-1 Panorama Panthers took on unbeaten Van Meter at home.

Unfortunately for the Panthers, the home town charm did not help out Panorama as Van Meter would take the W and remain undefeated beating the Panthers 47-0.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a quick 13-0 first quarter lead which was quickly turned into a 26-0 score in the second quarter, and eventually a 33-0 score heading into half. The score would hold at 33-0 until the fourth quarter hit where the Bulldogs would increase their lead even further over the Panthers 47-0.

That would eventually go on to be the final score as Van Meter remains unbeaten in both overall and district record. Meanwhile the Panorama Panthers will now drop to 6-2 overall with a 4-2 district record. Still in the hunt for the playoff race, Panorama will take to the road next week to square off against West Central Valley.
