High hopes for the ACGC Charger football team last Friday night as they went in search of their first win on the road against OA-BCIG.

ACGC was going up against an OA-BCIG squad with just one win on the season and the Chargers were looking to add onto their 7 turnover count for the season.

Unfortunately for the Chargers, their search for that elusive first win will have to wait one more week as OA-BCIG defeated ACGC by the final score of 49-6. OA-BCIG now improves to 2-6 overall, 2-4 inside district play while ACGC now drops to 0-8 and 0-6 in district play.

ACGC will have one more chance at their first win when they welcome in the district’s top team in Logan-Magnolia for a home match up next week.
