The ADM volleyball team is arguably having one of their best seasons here in 2016.

A 20+ win count accompanied by a single digit loss count has earned the Lady Tigers a first round bye and a home court advantage for their first match up in 2016 regional play. There are a lot of positives for the 2016 Lady Tiger volleyball team and while they may not top the charts with statistical numbers, their best assets may not be quantified by statistics. Raccoon Valley Radio spoke with ADM head volleyball coach Mary Beth Scott as she mentioned how team chemistry has been the biggest positive for her team getting to where they are now.

“Team chemistry definitely helps. I feel like the girls really get along well on and off the court and that is so important. And I do think too that they work had and they like to win, they’re not afraid of being pushed, they’re not afraid of being challenged. That really gets them going as well and they get a little squirly and they have some fun and that’s important in how they play,” stated coach Scott.

The Lady Tigers will have quite the stretch of time before they will kick back up with game action. They will face the winner of the Ballard and Dallas Center-Grimes match up played in Huxley this Wednesday night to a home match up in Adel next Wednesday the 25th.
