Hometown Heritage and the Perry Historic Preservation Commission will unveil their latest addition to the Wall of Witnesses next month.
The new relief depicts local attorney, former Dallas County Attorney and Perry Ambassador Charles Joy.
Joy was chosen by the Historic Preservation Commission for being very active in the community and backing the creation of new banks and churches, as well as helping to establish the original hog processing plant in Perry.
The unveiling and a short program will take place Friday, November 4th in the gallery of the Town Craft Building at 6pm. There will be light refreshments, it’s free and open to the public.
