Costumed actors from Living History Farms will be in Perry this weekend presenting a special program.
Several historic Iowa court cases will be reenacted in the Carnegie Library Museum’s courtroom Saturday afternoon.
Museum volunteer Andrea Tunink says one of the committee members saw this program before and thought it was would be a great thing to bring to Perry, especially with the perfect venue at the Carnegie.
The interpreters will be acting as lawyers, witnesses, judges and court clerks and audience members will be able to weigh in on what they think the verdict was.
The free program takes place at 1:30pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
We’ll hear more from Tunink on today’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program.
