Roccie Hill has resigned as the Greene County Chamber Director.

Chamber Board President Ora Stevens says due to the Chamber’s financial situation, they couldn’t keep Hill on the payroll. The Chamber is reportedly going to be out of money by mid-November.

Stevens adds that the Board doesn’t want to see her leave the Chamber. They are currently reorganizing and exploring options to keep Hill on in some capacity. Her resignation is effective the first week of November. Hill says she’s enjoyed working with the Board and has no hard feelings against any of the Board members.

A California native, Hill was hired as the new director this past July and officially took over as the director on September 1st.
