When the Ballard Bombers rolled to a 50-0 Class 3A District 2 football victory over the Greene County Rams on Friday night in Huxley, the high school football careers of more than a dozen Ram seniors came to a close.

Rams seniors are Chase Stoline, Thomas Jacobsen, Edwin Lenchanko, Trey Tucker, Nick Schroeder, Calvin Skalla, Anthony Jacobsen, Logan Lansman, Bryce Burkhardt, Hunter Ruth, Spencer Kirk, Nick Hidlebaugh, Austin Wailes, and Dylan Davis.

Head Coach Dean Lansman and his coaching staff return about half of the starters from the 2016 team that went 1-8 overall and 1-6 in the district.

Junior Hunter Wright rushed for 286 yards and five touchdowns for Ballard. The Bombers out gained the Rams 476-117. Ballard finished the season at 6-3, 4-3.
