The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council will consider for approval the third reading to amend an ordinance to increase residential and commercial trash rates and recycling rates each by five percent, the Greene County Development Corporation quarterly funding request, a letter of support for an application for law enforcement to Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation, an agreement with People for Animal Welfare Society to operate the current animal shelter, a development agreement for property at 111 East Lincoln Way, an enhancement study by Bolton & Menk for improvements to the east entryway into the City and acquiring two properties from Greene County.
Plus, the Council will set a hearing on a development agreement with Thomas Jefferson Gardens and hear a presentation from the police department.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
