With week nine of the Iowa High School football season done and over, it marks the unfortunate end of the 2016 edition of ACGC Charger football and gives way to the final statistics for the season.
Taking a look at the overall offensive statistics for the Chargers; they finished their first year in 11 man football with a 0-9 overall record, 0-7 inside their district. The Chargers scored a total of 59 points divided into 18 of those points on the ground and 36 of those points through the air.
The Chargers ended the year with 750 total passing yards off of 113 passing attempts for 6 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. The aerial attack was led by freshmen Bryce Littler completing 45 passes for 682 passing yards and 5 touchdowns. The ground game for ACGC posted 707 yards rushing off of 274 rushing attempts accumulating 3 scores on the ground. Senior Cole Stetzel led the Charger rushing attack rushing for 443 yards on 122 carries for 2 touchdowns. Aiding in the passing attack and leading the way in the pass catching category was senior Jacob Joliet hauling in 33 receptions for 588 yards and 6 scores, averaging 17.8 yards per catch.
