Unfortunately, as hard as it is to bear, the 2016 edition of ADM football has concluded which gives way to the final set of statistics for the 2016 season.
Taking a look at the final offensive statistics for the Tigers, they ended up scoring 193 total points which was 5th inside their district broken down into 84 rushing points and 78 passing points which ranks 4th inside the district as well. The Tigers averaged 13.5 yards per completion for the season and ended with an overall QB rating of 130.6.
As a team the Tigers put up 1,933 passing yards resulting in 13 touchdowns compared to just 5 interceptions. Those 1,933 passing yards ranked ADM 2nd inside district 7 and 5th in all of class 3A. Inside the Tiger rushing attack, ADM put up 977 yards on the ground off of 246 rushing attempts resulting in 14 touchdowns on the year.
Leading the way individually for the Tigers was the man under center in quarterback Sam McCartney. Sam was the arm behind the prolific Tiger passing attack as he alone accumulated over 95% of the teams passing yards with 1,849 yards which ranks him 2nd inside class 3A’s district 7 and 6th throughout all of class 3A. Sam McCartney turned out to be more than just a dynamic passer, but a dynamic overall player as the versatile senior also led the Tigers in rushing with over 486 rushing yards on 129 carries resulting in 9 touchdowns. Those 486 rushing yards for the ADM senior ranks second among all quarterbacks in district seven in overall rushing yards by a quarterback.
Other leading rushers for the Tigers include junior Nick Lindgren who accumulated 280 rushing yards on 55 carries for one score followed by senior Matthew Dobrzynski with 136 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Leading the way in the pass catching category was senior Austin Flora hauling in 35 receptions for 513 yards and 4 scores. He is followed by junior Gage Fuller with 28 receptions for 374 receiving yards and three touchdowns scored.
The kicking game consisted of largely of Davis Barton who went 1/3 in field goal attempts while going 15 of 19 in extra point attempts.
