Jared Trevor Wright, age 20 of 1647 Batavia Rd., Batavia was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent.

Todd Johnston of Linden was traveling in the 27000 block of N Ave. when his vehicle struck a deer.  Both front and driver’s side airbags deployed.  Both were examined by Dallas County EMS. No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $6000.00.

Wyatt Funcke of Jamaica was traveling in the 26000 block of Highway 141 when he was forced onto the gravel shoulder by a vehicle traveling parallel to Funcke.  Funcke went through the median, across the other lanes, through the south ditch and into a field striking several small trees.  The other vehicle did not stop and is unknown.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $7000.00.
