As we continue our candidate conversations here in Dallas County with the Democratic challenger in the District 2 Board of Supervisors race.

Julie Stewart says public service is something that has been stressed to her since childhood.

“I am the right candidate because of my background, with my family.  I mean, starting back with my great-grandfather, he helped grate the roads.  My grandfather was a supervisor, my father was on the school board, my mother and father both were in many service organizations, which then instilled in me the desire for public service.  Which I have done while raising my children and afterward.”
