A combine was totaled after it caught on fire Friday in Greene County.
Sheriff Steve Haupert says at 5:41pm on Saturday a deputy responded to the fire in the 1100 block of 244th Street. The cause of the fire was from a broken oil line that spilled, igniting the combine on fire. Haupert says the grain tank of the combine was also full at the time the fire started. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
The combine was owned by Jon Morlan of rural Jefferson and it was considered to be a total loss.
