Several communities in Dallas County are hosting their Beggar’s Night this evening.

Children in Adel will be trick-or-treating tonight from 6-8pm, as will kids in Dallas Center, DeSoto, Granger, Woodward and Minburn.  Dexter will hold their Beggars night from 5-8pm and Redfield’s is from 5-7pm.

Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard reminds parents and children to wear reflective clothing, bring a cell phone and flashlight if possible, travel with a group of friends and call 911 in case of an emergency.

He also encourages parents to inspect their children’s items when they return home.
