West Central Valley School District is under a lockdown Monday.
The District said on their website that a threatening note was found in the high school commons last Friday after school.
The District has been working with the Stuart Police Department, along with the Guthrie and Dallas County Sheriff’s offices.
As a result, authorities have placed all four of the district’s attendance centers on lockdown today. No one was allowed in the high school until 7:30am Monday. The high school was searched prior to school starting today by law enforcement and anyone entering the high school today is subject to be searched. Law enforcement will also be at all four attendance centers today.
Anyone with questions may contact any of the attendance centers.
Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
