Today officially marks the opening of practices for girls basketball teams in the state of Iowa according to the Iowa High School Athletic Association calendar.

For the ADM Lady Tigers that means picking back up just a season removed from being one win away from the state tournament. This season in 2016, the Lady Tigers will have some new faces added to the mix mixed in with some tried and true faces. This season ADM will be bringing back points leader from last season, Sydney Bertman who scored just shy of 300 points on the season with 299. Bertman also led the team in free throws with 80 and field goals made with 109 on the year. ADM also will get back Bertman’s team leading 165 rebounds performance from last season.

The new face that will be presented is actually not new at all as it will be none other than ADM head softball coach Rick Dillinger doing double duty now as the head coach for girls basketball as well. The Lady Tiger will be in great hands with coach Dillinger who is a member of the IGCA basketball Hall Of Fame.

ADM is set and primed for another great season with some new and tried and true faces looking for a state tournament season here in 2017.
