After swimming at the last two State Meets at the Marshalltown YMCA, Greene County junior Haley Hall is excited about the sport. She and five other Greene County HS students swam for Boone this season under an athletic sharing agreement. Hall swam on Saturday on Boone’s 15th place medley relay, and on the 21st place 400 freestyle relay. She swam the butterfly leg on the medley and the relay was timed in 1:51.23. The freestyle relay’s time was 3:45.60. Boone finished in 30th place with seven points, and four of the seven came from the medley relay.

Boone finished the season unbeaten in dual meets and had six events at the State Meet, both feats are not common for the Toreadors, but they’d like them to be. “We had a really good season and we were excited to go undefeated in dual meets and do as well in the postseason as we did,” Hall told Raccoon Valley Radio.
