The annual awards night banquet for ADM Tiger volleyball commenced and concluded last night.
The festivities were kicked off with the presentation of three year letter winner awards to seniors Sydney Bertman and Brianna Heimann. That progressed into best offensive player of the year award which went to junior Sami Schepers who totaled a team best 247 kills adding to her 257 successful serves and 28 aces on the season. Best defensive player award found it’s way into the hands of junior Jordan Hook who led the team in digs with 396 while also leading the team in aces with 47 and successful serves with 298 on the year.
Most Valuable Player award was earned by senior Sydney Bertman who was an all around player by leading the team in assists with 324 while pitching in 22 blocks, 177 digs, 19 aces and 84 kills on the season. Most Improved player award was earned by sophomore Delaney Bertman.
Last but certainly not least, the Tiger Pride award went to freshmen standout Josi Lonneman.
The Lady Tigers earned one of their best seasons is recent history in 2016 going 23-11 overall, earning an undefeated RRC record, and earning the 13th place ranking in the final regular season class 4A rankings.
