The Perry football team held their end of season banquet last week at the high school commons. Reece Dunlap was recognized by assistant coach Shannon Cline as being one of the most improved on the defensive side of the football this season.
“Without a doubt, I thought Reece improved the most this year. He was able to take in the proper fundamentals and techniques that we taught him and really apply them to the cornerback position. He already has amazing speed and natural talent so that once he started to apply the right mechanics, he just really took off.”
Dunlap finished 3rd on the team with 58 tackles and one interception this past season.
