The Dallas County Sheriff’s office has issued a new Iowa Sex Offender Registration notification.
Barry Joseph McElhaney of 402 West 4th Street in Woodward is on the registry due to a 2016 conviction of assault with intent to commit sex abuse.
The notifications aim to serve as a means for the public to protect themselves and any action taken against this person can results in arrest and prosecution.
