A Jefferson man had his charges dismissed for a June incident.
According to court documents, 31 year-old Patrick Michael Kennedy had his two felony charges dismissed for domestic abuse assault and domestic abuse assault impeding blood and/or air flow after the witness in the incident wasn’t available at trial time.
The charge stems from an investigation on June 14th in the 300 block of North Chestnut Street where a female had reported that she was assaulted.
Kennedy did plead guilty to violating a no contact order in the incident and was ordered to pay a $65 fine plus a 35 percent surcharge.
