img_3078The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

At the meeting, payroll change notices for the public home health department and Sheriff’s office were approved as presented.

The second pay application to Brocon Services LLC for the 902 Court Street building was approved in the amount of $74,849, or around 38 percent of the total project cost. The Board and department heads then talked about the moving process into the new offices.

A certificate of substantial completion for the emergency management project at the north campus was then approved by the Board.

An Emergency Medical Services equipment services contract was then approved.  The contract with Unity Point Health will be in effect until the end of the current fiscal year, June 30, 2017.  EMS Director Mike Thomason recommended the Board approve the  eight month clinical engineering contract for now and then shop around/reevaluate later.

A public hearing in regards to the Fiscal Year 2017 appropriations and first amendment was then held.  Following no comments from the public, both were approved as presented.

The November 8th general election results were then canvassed by the Board and a software agreement with Forecast 5 was discussed and approved.
