Greene County Public Health Department invites residents to participate in their upcoming Matter of Balance program.
Registered Nurses Laine Custer and Jill Juergensen will the lead the class and they will cover strategies to manage falls, making changes to reduce the risk of falling at home, exercises to increase strength and balance and setting goals for increased activity. So far in nine previous sessions, 75 Greene County residents have taken advantage of the class.
It will start on November 21st and it will be every Monday and Thursday from 9 to 11am at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. The cost to participate is $25. There will be no class held on Thanksgiving.
