A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of North Dana Street in Dana to speak with the resident about a security concern.

A deputy was dispatched for a single vehicle accident that occurred on Neola Avenue just north of the intersection with 300th Street. A 2004 Chevrolet Impala that was being driven by Benjamin James Vrieze 35, of Fort Dodge, was northbound on Neola Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and it entered the east ditch. Ben Vrieze was not injured and found a ride to Jefferson after the accident. Vrieze was later located and issued citations for Failure to Maintain Control, Driving While Suspended and Failure to Prove Security against Liability, accident related.

A deputy was dispatched to the city park in Churdan to investigate a reported suspicious vehicle with one male occupant. The identity of the male was determined and he was allowed to continue.

A deputy, the Sheriff, Greene County EMS and the Greene County Coroner were dispatched to the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton for an unattended death.

A deputy was on a previous call and unable to locate a reported suspicious vehicle driving on Union Pacific Railroad property in Grand Junction.

A deputy and the Sheriff were advised of several off road go-carts being operated on the city street of Scranton. One of the go-carts was stopped near Lincoln and Jefferson Streets and the deputy issued a citation to Trey Donte Hill 23, from Carroll, for Driving While Suspended. The go-cart was impounded and transported to a lock down facility.

A deputy assisted a Probation Officer with checking a male subject in Grand Junction.

A deputy was advised of a car-deer accident that occurred on Highway 30 near the Raccoon River Bridge. The driver indicated that he had continued on, with little damage to his vehicle and no report needed.

A deputy while on routine patrol, checked a residence in Churdan after finding an open door.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
