Chris Nelson will officially have his first game as head coach of the Greene County High School boys’ basketball team next week when the Rams host Ogden in a Nov. 28 non-conference girl/boy doubleheader in Jefferson at the middle school gym.

The Rams had an unofficial “tune up” scrimmage on Tuesday night in Creston at the Southwestern Community College High School Jamboree. Greene County played Class 1A Lenox for two quarters in action that will not count on either teams’ record, but gets the players used to game conditions, fans, and registered officials.

Greene County basketball can be heard all season long on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Monday’s twin bill starts at 6 p.m. with the girls playing first, followed by the boys’ game.
