Yesterday was the release date for the 2016 INA All-State Football teams and with it the West Central Valley Wildcats saw one of their own on that list in junior Brock Wolfe.
The Wildcat’s dual threat starred as one of West Central Valley’s leading receivers on the season with 510 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns, but it was his skills as a punter that earned him a spot on the INA’s class 1A All-State third team.
Wolfe’s selection was carried on the heels of his 2016 performance where he booted 45 punts total, totaling over 1,700 punting yards, averaging over 39 yards per punt, with a long of 71 yards. The 6-2 190 lb junior letter winner will be gracing the West Central Valley football field one more time next year in his senior season. He will be one of 8 returning players who will enter the 2017 season representing the senior class.
