Greene County cut the turnovers from game one to game two from 33-13, and they scored more points and gave up less, but the result was a still a 52-36 loss in Jefferson to non-conference opponent Ogden on Monday night on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The Bulldogs led 21-16 at halftime, then pulled away to a 43-27 lead at the end of the third quarter and led by as many as 19 points late in the game.
Abby Langel had 13 points for Ogden (2-0) with 10 each by Kim Christensen and Ashton Boggess, with nine by Kennedy Kruse. The Bulldogs were 19 of 45 from the floor and five of 15 shooting free throws. They made nine of 24 three-point shots and had 19 turnovers.
Greene County (0-2) was led in scoring by senior Kenna Marquardt with 15 points. They were 14 of 47 from the floor and two of 10 from three-point range. The Rams made six of 13 foul shots and turned the ball over just 13 times.
