Heads up to those who use the Stuart-Adair County Medical Clinic in Stuart, it will be closed for remodeling starting next week.
Public Information Officer Tiffany Johnson says the clinic will be closed from December 5th through the 18th. The project includes new flooring, furniture and fresh wall paint. Some office space, like the nurse’s station will be relocated to the back of the clinic for better privacy phone calls with patients.
Since Adair County Health System purchased the Stuart location about six years ago, Johnson points out that this is the first major renovation that they’ve done.
In the interim, Physician Assistant David Black will see patients during his normal clinic hours at the Greenfield location.
Johnson says they are planning an open house for the renovated Stuart clinic for some time next spring.
