img_2966Those looking to hear some holiday tunes to get them into the Christmas spirit are encouraged to take in the talents of the students at Perry High School Monday.

The annual band and choir winter concert takes place in the Performing Arts Center and features a variety of music starting with the high school band.

“What we’re playing is just a variety of holiday favorites if you will, still not sure if the jazz band is going to play, they might” says Band Director Brandon Weeks.

Choir Director Jenn Nelson says the night then moves on to several vocal performances.

“We’ll have the concert choir perform, which is the big mixed choir, our women’s ensemble Corral and our select choir will also perform.”

It starts at 7pm Monday and everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help with the band and choir’s food drive competition.

We’ll have more with Weeks and Nelson on today’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County.
