A Guthrie Center woman says it was the message behind a story she read that drew her to create a new play adaption.
Celia Reynolds and the Morrisburg Players did their first production three years ago and Reynolds says she has been asked to do another one ever since.
This weekend the group will present “Gideon’s Gift” and she hopes everyone will attend.
“The message of the play is my very favorite thing and that is Christmas miracles happen to those who believe, so that’s the whole point of the play. My best time is really probably watching my granddaughter do her thing and just being with the people and we’re just having fun doing it. I think everybody has liked doing this and it has just been a good experience.”
Performances take place at the Morrisburg Church Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 5pm.
