It was another road contest for the Panorama Panther Wrestling team last night as they were on the road in Van Meter for a triangular against West Central Valley and Van Meter high schools.

Coach Jason Kirtly and his Panther team were looking to remain unbeaten in dual play but unfortunately for Panorama, the winning streak would end in Van Meter as they came away from the triangular with a 1-1 split.

The winning match up for the Panthers came against Guthrie County rival West Central Valley winning 37-29. The Panthers totaled 8 wins against the Wildcats which came on the heels of four victories by fall, three decision wins, and one win by major decision.

The next match up for the Panthers would be against the Van Meter Bulldogs and for the first time this season, Panorama wrestling would suffer their first dual meet loss 43-36. 6 wins in total for Panorama against Van Meter which was comprised of 5 wins by fall and one win by forfeit.

A quick turnaround for the Panthers in their next contest on the road at the Central Decatur tournament beginning at 5:00 pm.
