Today is the day for conference pride as Panorama wrestling will participate in the annual West Central Activities Conference Dual Tournament meet today.

Last season at this point, coach Jason Kirtley and his Panther squad entered the conference meet with a 3-4 dual meet record but this season they enter with a 7-1 record thanks to two three dual match sweeps this season. This season coach Kirtley has two ranked wrestlers ranked inside the latest top ten rankings heading into conference action, Tyler Van Houten ranked 6th in class 1A’s 152 lb weight class, and Gunnar Grunsted ranked 10th in class 1A’s 160 lb weight class. Van Houten yields a 14-1 record entering today while Gurnsted has a recorded 13-2 overall record.

Weather permitting the Panthers will square off in the West Central Activities Conference meet at Woodward-Granger high school beginning at 9:00 am this morning.
