The 40th Bike Ride to Rippey will take off from Perry on Saturday, February 4th.
Online registration for the original winter ride opens today.
“This is something that we’re very, very, very excited about. It’s one of the longest (running) organized bike rides in the state of Iowa and it has really kept Perry on the map. So we’re going to have fun with it this year. We’re going to update you frequently on little things that are occurring. If your organization wants to partake somehow, please let me know. If you’ve got a creative idea, maybe there’s something you want to bring back from BRR history or whatever it is. This is our time to come together as a community, not only to promote out of towners, but to give our residents something to do and that’s what it’s all about.
